What will you experience

Kakheti

The road we will be taking takes us through picturesque Gombori Mountains. After short drive, arrive in the center of Kakheti. Visit “Qvevri” master, explore the history of clay dishes which are the main reason of unique Georgian wine-making. After “Qvevri’ master, drive to central Telavi to visit a local Market.

Lunch

Later proceed to lunch. We will taste local natural wine made in “Qvevri” at wine-maker’s house and will be served some delicious homemade food. After lunch drive to Ikalto monastery complex dated from 6th century .It is known as one of the most significant cultural-scholastic centers of Georgia.

Tsinandali

 After drive towards Tsinandali family estate of well-known 19th century public and military person- Alexander Chavchavadze. We will visit summer palace of the family their personal items and enjoy the short stroll in a lovely garden. (optional)

Sighnaghi

Then the road will take us towards Sighnaghi. After 1 hour drive, arrive in the charming town which is nested on the top of the little mountain offering lovely views of Great Caucasus Mountains and Alazani Valley. Built in the 18th century-Sighnaghi (meaning Shelter) is surrounded by defensive walls and served as the main protection for the local villages.
